A heart of gold & strict as strict can be … but always for the better
Still searching for words …. Contemplating….trying to express my thoughts and feelings ….. my deepest condolence to his family and close friends.
During our life we do meet a lot of people. But there are just a few who REALLY do leave their positive imprints, who are a life changer and who make a better person out of ourselves.
And I bet, Burkhard wasn’t even aware that he definitely - from my personal point of view - belonged to those life changers…. how much influence he had… how much he made us a better person.
I learned so much from him business related… and we two had our sometimes really strong arguments, both being impulsive persons…. But I’ve hardly met so far more experienced colleagues with whom I heavily argued and who had the standing to get back to me later, apologizing and confirming that they were wrong.
For me Burkhard was a colleague, a friend to look up to. Yes, he could rip your work apart, but he would sit down with you afterwards trying to find a better solution as well.
He even would sit down listening and trying to help even if the issue was related to private live.
And not to forget his humor… unbeatable as some points.
Burkhard, you for sure left your positive imprints in my life – thank you so much for this !
