I first meet Burkhard via Sarah Tallon and their work setting up the SAC/triage team in Ireland.
You could tell they had a fantastic working relationship and they helped ramp up the wider service delivery team on this important topic.

Later, in 2010, I worked with Burkhard while he was still working in SAP-AGS  (EMEA Regional Management) team.
As far as I recall, he was a Support Advisor for EMKE Group (SUGEN Customer). ..... To be honest I vaguely recall what we did for his customer, no doubt it was something to do with BW, but what I really remember is the fun loving and kind personality that Burkhard had.  Yes he always gave 100% to his customers and maintained the highest standards possible but he also had that element of fun in his persona while doing so. This left a lasting memory of him with me and others in SAP that he worked with.

I feel the world needs more people like him.  Life is about the moments in it and Burkhard provided some very fun moments for us all 😊.

So RIP Burkhard, Your song maybe sung but your (melody & memories) will linger on in the hearts of those in Ireland that were lucky enough to come across your path 😊
