In the last years before his retirement, we had been sitting in the same big office in IU.19 for quite some time. At that time, I was not brought up in the core team of the gifted technicans but came from Logistics applications and industries into AGS. After having experienced some pretty tough guys with rather raw social skills, listening to Burkhard, his phone calls and his stories was a sort of interesting theater for free. It was an interesting show with very nice content and interesting behavior, even very good but different. Regardless if colleagues and customers, he had his own true unique style. But always helpful regardless if simple guy or manager. I have never had the feeling that distingishued. So these few years were a gift of his own. The show, the respect, the content, the stories, the help, the skills, his network. For sure, a colleague to remember. Our ways split. He went to retirement, I went to Beijing. After my return, it was hole since I could have enjoyed Burkhard again. The good old times is a fairy tale but people to remember like him.
My condolences go this his beloved ones and to his spirit. Have fun and dedication in the next level. Power and glory will go, the thoughts stay.
Many thanks for all that, Andreas Nikolaus (another Andreas yet).
