I was lucky enough to be one of the first group of colleagues from Ireland sent to Walldorf to be trained by Burkhard, over 20 years later his training is as relevant as ever. His patience, attention to detail and business understanding when analysing customer systems is still something I strive for. It's only years later that you understand how special his mentoring really was(the long hours and re-writing of customer reports were hard to take then!). He was very generous with his time and I don't know how he had such patience when training us, always questioning but not critical. We loved his sense of humour, although it did take a little while to understand - he was very good at keeping a serious face!

You were the foundation for Service Delivery in SAP Ireland and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
